Magnolias in these parts, such as this star
magnolia photographed yesterday, seem to time their blooms just
in time to get slammed by a snowstorm, such as is happening today.
Fig. 1 shows Siberian Squill from two days ago -- some praise it
for being a "true
blue" flower, but
not everyone likes it.
Figs. 2 and 3 show flowers that, like the drawings of Leonardo
Da Vinci, need a magnifying glass to be appreciated.
