Photographer's notes: There must be something about this clock that inspires artists: John Shiflet has contributed two digital re-creations of this image -- “Fifth Avenue Dimension” (Yellow Pen) and “Fifth Avenue Neon Time” (Blue Pen) -- and it is also the subject of Tom Christopher's Munch-like "Last Clock on Fifth Avenue", shown in Museum of the City of New York's catalog of their "Painting the Town" exhibition..
